    Hi Guys,

Sorry, no ETA. Please file a feature request for it in JIRA and also in the Sencha bug tracker. It's dependent on ExtJS giving us a code assist file like the one we have for 3.X.

    Thanks,
    Ingo

    Hi All,

Apologies...we just don't have the resources at the moment to work on this. However, if someone in the community would like to help, it's relatively straightforward.

You can take the jsduck project:

    https://github.com/senchalabs/jsduck

and use the --json output option to generate an API file. then, you need to transform this into either:

    https://wiki.appcelerator.org/display/tis/ScriptDoc+%28SDOC%29+2.0+...

    or

    https://wiki.appcelerator.org/display/tis/ScriptDoc+XML+%28SDOCML%2...

Once that's done, you can drop the API file into a project and get content assist.

I'm working on a tool that creates the sdocml from the jsduck json, but Aptana doesn't seem to be picking it up when I drop it into the project.
    - Am I correct in thinking that I just need to drop the sdocml anywhere into the project files? - I've attached the sdocml file I've created for ext4.0 that I'm using just in case I'm missing something or it isn't formatted correctly. Thanks.

    Hi John,

Thank you very much for helping there! Our resident sdocml expert was away for the last week but he's back now, so we'll take a look and get back to you ASAP.

To your question, yes, it should just recognize it when dropped in the project. Have you looked in your Studio log file to see if there are any errors?

    Thanks,
    Ingo

    Thanks that helped.
I've fixed a few of the errors that showed up and attached a new file. I'm not sure it is complete, so if there is something missing, it should be easy to add to the tool and update the file.

    Hi John,

Thanks for working on this. Two questions:
    1) are you currently able to use the file you posted on 01/04/2012 or does it still result in errors?
    2) Are you planning on generating an sdocml file for the recently released Ext JS 4.1 beta?

    Thanks again,

      Aaron

Hey Aaron - I don't get errors in the 1/4 file, I'm just not sure if I've added everything that needs to be added to the sdocml to get complete code hinting.

I definitely can generate one fr the 4.1 Beta.

I wonder if there is a better place to post the generated files? I'll set up a page on my site (http://thekuroko.com) and post there as well as here. When I get it going - hopefully this weekend.

Arron - I've created an SDOCML file for the 4.1 beta. You can grab it off my site:

Check it out and let me know how it works for you.

Hi John, I'm having trouble getting the file from your site. I click the link to download, the browser loads for around 30 seconds and then redirects to the homepage.

I'm getting this in every browser.

Also, the request: "http://www.thekuroko.com/?mcsf_action=main_css&ver=3.3.1" takes around 27 seconds to complete according to webkit's dev console, which is making the site really slow.

Thanks for the heads up Lee.

The download plugin I was using wasn't working correctly. I've fixed the links to the sdocml files at http://www.thekuroko.com/aptana-sdocml-code-hinting-support/

I'm also working on fixing the slow loading css.

    Kiran -
It does seem to be a little flaky. I've tried restarting Aptana after adding the sdocmal file as well as having the EXTJS lib in the project (which creates other headaches btw).

Here is what I've found to work. Let's say I have a Web project named MyApp set up in Aptana:
    1. Copy the sdocml file into the root the MyApp Aptana project.
    2. Create a project that is the EXTJS framework
    3. Reference that project in the MyApp project (Right-click the project -> Project References -> Check the EXTJS project)

Let me know if you are still having issues and I'll see what I can do.

    Hi John,

I did exaclty as you described.

1.) Put the sdocml file into the root af my existing project (it is not an Aptana Project, is this a problem?)
2.) Created a project with ExtJS 4.0.7 as project root folder
    3.) referenced the project

    Can you please help.

Do you plan to update the files http://www.thekuroko.com/aptana-sdocml-code-hinting-support/ with Ext JS 4.1?

    Thanks for your efforts!
