Hi there.

I'm new to Aptana, just downloaded it today.

I looked at Preferences | General | Editors | Text Editors | Spelling and it has spell checking options. I have "Enable spell checking" checked, but I don't see how I can start the spell checker.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is a spellchecker for Eclipse which works in the Aptana plugin for Eclipse, you might need to install that first.

    Search eclipse.org for plugins.

But what do I know, perhaps there are other instructions for using a spellchecker in Aptana standalone?

Unfortunately the Eclipse spell checker doesn't work in the Aptana editors - we had it enabled but turned it off because it caused performance issues.
