    Hi Alex,

Can you be more specific? Is this a new project you want to upload, or an existing Github project?

    Basically, you follow this process:

    1) Create a new project
    2) Right-click on project..."Team > Share Project". Commit your local contents to that repo
    3) Create a new Github repo
    4) Right-click "Add remote" and paste in the URL of your project
    5) You have to follow one manual step ATM. Type "git push -u origin master" in the console for the project
    6) You can now push your files up to Github.

Hi, when i do step 5, it replies:

fatal: 'origin' does not appear to be a git repository
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly

Hi, the solution ins simple. You have to add your keyfile to your ssh-keyagent first, otherwize the ssh connection is failing. Open a Terminal and type "ssh-add /path/to/your/key".

After that it will work fine.

I'm trying to figure out where to go for basic help/documentation on using GitHub with Aptana PyDev. I'm trying to install github and learn how to use it with the Aptana 3.0 PyDev interface.

    a) How do I get GitHub to communicate with Aptana PyDev and vice versa?

I suspect I have already installed Git correctly (I went to http://git-scm.com/downloads), but if I try to share or post something in Aptana by right clicking on an existing project in the PyDev Package Explorer and then selecting Team and then ShareProject, the "Create" button is greyed out.

    b) Also, How do I get Aptana to work with an existing GitHub project? Thanks so very much.
