Hi,

I started using Aptana Studio 3 while it was in beta, and in the meantime, Aptana was acquired by Appcelerator. Once Titanium Studio was released, I switched to it because Aptana was still in beta. Now that Aptana 3 has been released, I'm trying to identify the differences between Aptana and Titanium... I use this primarily for PHP/HTML/CSS development, but I can't really identify what advantages there are to using Titanium vs Aptana.

Can anyone identify the differences, and why I would select one IDE vs the other?

Titanium Studio is based on Aptana Studio 3 and contains everything it has, plus the Titanium integration to create mobile/desktop projects and build/run/package for mobile and desktop applications. If your primary usage is PHP/HTML/CSS/JS/Ruby/Pydev, Aptana Studio 3 should be enough.
